A text adventure. You have to survive an engine failure while flying over an apparently uninhabited island in the South Atlantic. You must learn to treat the natives with respect, avoid capture by the enemy, and return with the island’s secret.
It is the fourth of Artic Computing’s lettered adventures for the ZX81 and TS1000 (Adventure D).
Program Analysis
The BASIC is two lines, 1 SAVE "ADVENTD" and 2 RAND USR 16684, so the game starts itself after loading. Everything else in the 15K file is machine code and data. The game’s text is stored compressed, so none of it can be read directly from the file.
