1986 Midwest Timex/Sinclair Computerfest

The First Annual Timex/Sinclair Computer Fest met in Cincinnati for two days of learning, sharing and working together. Attendees came from Georgia, Illinois, Indiana, Kentucky, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas, Vermont, Washington, D.C. and Toronto, Ontario.

Attendance during the two-day event (including family groups, dealers, and the press) approached five hundred.

  • Mark Fendrick, columnist for Computer Shopper, speaking on Timex word processing.
  • Jerry Chamkis, discussing CP/M for Timex computers.
  • Jack Roberts, of TS Connection, speaking on basic computer literacy.
  • Tom Woods, author of the Pro-File programs, discussing filing programs.

User groups from Cleveland, Columbus, Cincinnati, Dayton and Milwaukee were represented.
